Founded in Ottawa in 2014 by Gregory Macdonald, the wellness company makes premium bath and body soaks combining mineral-rich salts, clays, plant milks and botanical oils — formulations aimed at sleep, recovery, hydration and skin health. As wellness moved into the home, Bathorium positioned the bathtub as its most available venue. The brand changed how a generation of Canadians thinks about bathing, transforming a habit into a ritual. Its growth has been steady, intentional and category-defining.
