About the brand
An evacuation order cannot save someone who never receives it. In Canada's worst weather disasters, power, cell networks and internet are exactly what fail first. FLIK Industries, founded by Shevonne Chin in Scarborough in 2023, closes that last mile with drones that put critical visual instructions in the sky: EVACUATE NOW, SHELTER IN PLACE, an arrow toward safety. The system works without a working phone, an app or a connection — precisely the conditions emergencies create. It's emergency infrastructure reimagined for the moment infrastructure breaks. As climate-driven disasters intensify, FLIK's answer grows less optional by the season. A small Canadian company has built what could become the standard for how authorities reach people when nothing else works.
