About the brand
Aizadfood makes single-ingredient dried fruits and vegetables — no added sugar, no preservatives, no sulphites, nothing on the label that isn't in the bag. Aida Pooryanasab founded the Aurora-based company in 2023 after travelling more than 30 countries and watching people everywhere dehydrate fruit the honest way, then coming home and finding nothing like it on Canadian shelves. Her first batch of dried tomatoes in a plain ziplock, posted to her travel Instagram, sold out immediately and becoming a mother turned a market hunch into a mission. Aizadfood's proposition is radical only because the industry made it so: food with nothing hidden. It has grown a following on the strength of ingredient lists you can read in one breath. It's snack food stripped back to what food was supposed to be.
