The Canada Small Business 100 recognizes the entrepreneurs and businesses shaping Canada's economy, communities, and culture. Businesses across all industries are encouraged to apply.
Headquartered in Canada
Business must be legally registered and actively operating within Canadian territory.
Leadership in Canada
CEO, founder, or primary executive leader must be a Canadian resident.
1-499 Employees
Business must have between 1 and 499 full-time or part-time employees.
1+ Years Operating
Business must have been operational for at least one year by nomination date.
Internal Nomination
Nomination must be submitted by an employee or representative of the business.
Measurable Impact
Demonstrated leadership, innovation, growth, community contribution, or industry influence.

Judging and Selection Process
The Canada Small Business 100 (CSB 100) honourees and award winners will be selected by an independent jury of peers, small business leaders, and community advocates.
Each nomination will be evaluated based on key factors including business impact, innovation, resilience, community contribution, and the unique story behind each organization. The judging panel will consider each business's achievements, challenges overcome, and vision for the future.
The expert judging panel will be announced publicly following the close of nominations. Bringing together leaders from across entrepreneurship, business, and community sectors, the panel will help recognize and celebrate Canada's most inspiring small businesses.
Honourees and award winners will be notified of their recognition on or before October 1. Please contact us for any further information by email.
