Soccer World has spent more than two decades making every experience with the beautiful game a positive one: regardless of race, religion, gender or income. Founded in 2001 and led by owner and CEO Chrys Chrysanthou, the Oakville company has grown into a soccer specialty retailer and team-uniform provider spanning three stores, e-commerce, corporate apparel and in-house production. A preferred partner of adidas, PUMA, Nike and New Balance, it works with everyone from recreational players to Canada's largest soccer organizations. Its ambition is plain: to become the country's most trusted soccer company. Independent sporting-goods retail is a graveyard of good intentions, which makes Soccer World's longevity (and 50-person team) a feat in itself. It has outlasted trends by serving a community rather than chasing a category.
