Goji Studio is what happens when a chef who spent 15 years in the world's most demanding kitchens decides to build something personal. Ken Yau and his wife Ashley opened the Leslieville space in Toronto in 2022 as a pottery studio and supper club where strangers gather around a shared table for an intimate, considered meal. The philosophy extends past the plate: nearly everything guests touch is made by hand in the studio itself. It's hospitality as craft object, where the room, the ceramics and the food come from the same hands. Goji offers something a restaurant can't franchise: total authorship. In a city full of dining options, it's the one that built its own dishes first.
