Mantle is building the operating infrastructure for private markets, from Toronto, for the world. Led by five-time entrepreneur Amar Varma (with a founding team forged at Pivotal Labs, Xtreme Labs and Autonomic) the company runs two products: Mantle Equity, an AI-native cap-table platform replacing legacy tools like Carta and Pulley for startup founders, and Mantle Portal, which brings private-fund data aggregation to institutional LPs long served by PDFs and spreadsheets. It attacks opacity in two of the economy's least transparent corners at once. The pedigree is Toronto engineering royalty applied to financial plumbing. Mantle's bet is that private markets will run on better rails, and that a Canadian company should build them. It's infrastructure as ambition.
